Welcome Canvas Heart Pendant Banner

I was on a banner kick last weekend as you can see from the pictures of my desk posted for WOYWW. Here is one of them that I finished up!

This canvas banner is great, it's lined with chipboard on the back. It is from Michael's Dollar bins, I think it was 2 bucks for a set of 6. I painted them a nice sunshine yellow, punched a 2nd hole in them and added eyelets. I decided to go with a grey and yellow color pallet. I just love those colors paired together and they seem to be one of the color trends going on right now.

I painted them a vibrant yellow after adding the eyelets.

I then painted some Maya Road Chipboard Letters grey and then stamped on top if them and added some clear embossing powder. I love the look this give it, something interesting without over powering the letters.

I then layered the chipboard letter onto a paper Doyle.

I painted a spare heart the same grey as the letters and then stamped swirls on it and added clear embossing powder again. Love how this turned out. I wasn't too worried about the lines knowing it would be covered in the center.

I added a few Maya Road flowers into the center of the heart.

I added pieces of grey ribbon through each eyelet and knotted them and then added the lace running through behind them.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow to check out another banner tutorial.

Today I'm playing along linking up for the Dog Days of Winter. Join us HERE
