Christmas Advent Calendar *PLUS A GIVEAWAY
Christmas items have been on my mind lately. Trying to get things in order BEFORE the day itself. I do not think I will keep this project- think I'll sell it... not too sure yet. I love it, I do. It's just we don't really use advent calenders.

Okay back to business. A minute to say something about this collection! It's just amazing. I love it, so many possibilities and things you can do with it. Ranging from cards, layouts, mini books, etc.
In the spirit of making things and giving things. I've decided to offer this lovely collection pictured here as a giveaway!!! One lucky winner will win this great collection December 10th! Contest closes 12/05/12.
All you have to do is share a Holiday project of yours. Anything and everything can be used. Layout, card, off the page project. Simply add your project off in the sidebar. I can't wait to me motivated by all of your creative wonderfulness.

Okay onto the project!
I cut many pieces and inked them up to use on the house.
I went ahead and glittered little pieces here and there that I knew I'd want glittered and would be easier to do so before they were adhered.
I made sure that each section of this calendar had something POPPED off the page. You may not be able to see them all there, but I love how each box had something special and unique to offer.
I really wish I could better show all of the layers and pieces that pop, bend and move in these sections.
I still have some little village people that I plan to add to it as well as some small gifts into this top section. However, I'm still working on them.
A little Hambly Screen Prints added to the top section. just love those deer.
In the 25 box, I layered the Christmas Tree as well as the presents to add more depth to that box. I also glittered both tree's stars.
Thanks for looking and Sharing! When you share be sure to drop me a comment letting me know!

Triathlon Shadow Box
So, my boyfriend does alot of athletic events. Everything from Marathons, triathlons, 10k's, gravel races, trail runs, etc. He's very dedicated, I mean the man works out almost every morning and then 1-2 times in the evening between running, swimming and biking. Anywho, He wanted "something" to showcase his bibs and medals and what not. I came up with this shadow box. It has pockets to hold quite a few bibs at staggered heights and then had a guy I found on Etsy.com create little plaques for the events he's done. This box isn't completed with all the bibs and plaques, but it's the beginning and a great conversation piece.
There's also a quote on the bottom of the bib holder but couldn't get the right camera angle with the glass on it not to glare.
Ohhhhh and I almost forgot.. so everyone knows I'm the worst speller of all time right? Even with spell check I manage to mess things up.. well.... on one of the plaques I managed to mis-spell Triathlon.
(Update: thus far he's got 5 of them full! Definitely love the look of them. More pictures to come as each one if different)

Hello there
I have a normal blog, however I decided that I would like one that is just for crafty projects. I plan on having giveaways and tutorials and all sorts of other great fun.. maybe even some vids. on how to's. Here is the most recent creation! I love it. It's a Time Holtz alterable box frame! I adored this and the possible ideas long before I ever bought one! I decided for this peace to do my first altered art piece. There are no pictures! Which is a very hard thing for me as I either work with a project or with pictures. I love how it turned out! It's got bits and pieces of wonderful vintage materials I have collected throughout the years as well as just alot of my favorites trinkets and things. Each piece has a special meaning to me and me alone. On this project i used all Helmar adhesives. It was my first time really using them and I just fell in love with them. Used nothing but them on this project! Thanks for looking! I'll promise lots of pics and when I can lots of details and pics on how to do them! This box is 9 inches by 6.5 inches. Just looks big in pictures!
