Motivation Monday

Sooo I'm sad to say I didn't get many projects done this last weekend. The great summer weather beckoned me.. I've been doing this and that... little things to a few different projects.. and I have about 3 layouts that are.. almost done but still need a few more things to put on that had to dry.

In light of inspiration.. I thought i'd share something personal. My brother is a tat artisit. He's amazing.. but I only have one.. which is a cover up from a big mistake.. lol. Anywho this weekend I got something inspirational on me!! Somethign I love and always have.. hee hee I really like it. but, then again I'm obsessed with birdcages... soon there will be a tree on there as well.. that the cage will hang from. Anywho, for those who like tats there she be.

Soooo, in light of my lack of projects to share.. I'm going to share some photo tutorials I have found online with you all. They are all super easy and simple and take a minimal amount of time. There's lots of great flower and other fun projects.. super simple.. video and lengthy instructions not needed. I've personally done almost all of these.. sooo if you have any questions please let me know. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some layouts posted. Enjoy ladies.

Friday Friday

Remember ladies, tonight I will be live on ustream. Hosting a tutorial class on how to make cupcake cards. These are just adorable. I'll go live at about 8pm Central Time.  Below is a recap of what you will need to play along and pics of what we'll be working on. I'm very sorry again about the delay in not getting it done last night.. but my internet and the weather weren't liking me.

For the tutorial I'm going to be doing something that I get tons of people asking me how to make. Sooo, it will be a bit of a longer tutorial.. but super easy compared to how complicated it appears. Here is a list of what you will need to participate as I'm doing it. Here are some pictures of the ones I have made. You can see they can be made for any theme. Boy or girl birthday, baby shower gifts, and even to coordinate with the seasons! Items needed: (You can look at the image and see where each will be used to know what colors you prefer.) You can see that you can make them in about any size you like! I'll give you some paper measurements this evening. Be sure to be logged into chat if you want to ask specific things as we go along.

- Styrofoam ball- ( you can also use a half circle.. those floral kinds or what not) The size you use will determine how large your cupcake is. I love them all! Also one 1 inch to 3/4 inch styrofoam ball.
- 1 sheet of felt- you can choose one color or choose to have two diff colors.
- 1 sheet of paper,
- 3-4 laces and or trims of your choice (ribbons are fine as well)
- Hot glue or your fave adhesive
- Paper or cloth Dollie ( If you don't have one.. that's cool.. get a strip of lace and I'll show you how to make one)
- 1 strip of lace for bow by cherry (I prefer sheer but you can do whatever you like)
- Glitter of choice (I have all red cherries but you could so anything!)
- Tag or cardstock to make tag
- Pebbles/Dew Drops... if you don't have these.. no worries... there's lots you can use for "sprinkles"

IMPORTANT NOTICE-about tonights class

Ok, ladies I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to reschedule tonight class for tomorrow night. My Internet has been awfully bad all day today.. we've had icky weather... and it's been hit or miss on if I get a good connection much less a good enough one to broadcast without issues.

So, the class will be rescheduled for tomorrow night at 7pm. for the tutorial on how to create the cupcake cards. A few posts below you can find all the materials you will need to create them.

Once again I am very sorry to have to cancel but I'd hate begin and then have my net go out. So, we shall shoot for tomorrow night.

Wandering Wednesday

Wandering..... hopelessly wandering. Soo, each week I offer you all some great sites to visit. This week I'm only going to offer one... hee hee I have a reason for this...
