Lovely tags! Would love to win them. They would be beautiful on the album I am making for my mom who is fighting lung cancer and has never smoked. We used to sew together when I was little and have a very close relationship. I want to do the album for her to show her how much she means to me and how much I love and respect her before she passes away. Love the tags!

Wandering Wednesday

So, I love Wednesdays. They are soo much fun to me to show you all different blogs or sites that I enjoy.

Today, I think I shall share with you all a gal I just adore. I love looking through her galleries as well as just everything she does. Each wed. she does a video called Inspiration Wednesday. Donna Downey!! Now she has an all around amazing blog and website. she sells alot of the things she used on ehr website for great low prices.

I love her blog because even though I never buy kits or classes or anything like that I can still watch her videos (she's got tons in her archives), or look through her past projects and feel an overwhelming amount of inspiration hit my like bricks to the head! Just love it.

From here you can navigate through the taps at the top to see different things!

Check it out and get inspired!

Don't forget about the August giveaway you can find the details about here: August Giveaway

Alittle of This & That

Sometimes, I just like to sit and look around. See what I can come up with that creatively grabs me! This is one of those moments, while playing with some of the yellow and greys for the August Color Challenge, I grabbed this cleat vase.. I have a billion of them from flowers. I've seem them painted from the inside many times, which I knew is the direction I wanted to head in. However, I wanted something a bit different. This is what I came up with. The possibilities are once again literally endless.

I made grey  circles on the inside of the vase. LET THEM DRY before continuing.

Then begin painting. You maybe want to let it dry and then apply a 2nd coat if the paint is too opaque.

I love how un-perfect it is. I am keeping some scissors in it by my die cutting station.
