Canvas Homemade Journal

So, one afternoon playing with some canvas I had just bought by the yard. I began playing making a mini art journal/ mini album. I'm not quite sure what I will do with it but it's darn cute and waaaaay cheaper to make cs. those that you can buy when buying the canvas by the yard when on sale. Pictures tell it all. However if you have any questions feel free to ask.. I shall explain.

Canvas cut and then ironed in half.. choose whatever size you like!

Modge podge the udges to avoid them from fraying.. or whatever method you choose.

Duct Tape Wallet

So, I'm waaaaaay behind the times, however tonight while watching tv, I decided to try my luck at a wallet free handing it. This is number 2. Still not perfect by any means, working on putting in a clear pocket for the ID. However, that will come soon. Heck maybe before this is posted, I'll have added a new one with more pictures of newer ones. Yes for those who are wondering a simple 10 minute video is coming, cause yes it's that easy, 10 minutes and you have a wallet.

Here are some I got the plastic in for the ID cards.

Stencil Pillow- in progress

So, after some playing around on Pinterest. I decided I had yards of canvas I had purchased a few days prior and I would go ahead and begin some of my mini albums, projects and a pillow idea I had saw. This is just the beginning. None the less thought I would share how great they are coming along! More to come on the other canvas projects SOON!

I first cut the fabric 14x14, this way I have an inch inseam for sewing to get a 12x12 pillow. Then I laid out this nifty $1 stencil i got from Hobby Lobby and began painting. I used painters tape to hold it down and then made sure when I was painting I had good pressure on it so it didn't smudge getting under the stencil too much. I worked form left to right.

This is what it looks like right now drying. Makes me squeal just a little when I see it. Not even going to lie, I'm stoked about these. I hung this one from my Clip it up to dry. Worked well. Now to sew and stuff.
