Wandering Wednesday..

Ok ladies, here is where I have wandered to here lately. Enjoy! I'm sticking with much larger blogs today.. mainly company blogs because I mean... we buy their products why not see what they do with them.

TT Tuesday: Always get something done..

So, here my tip and trick for the day.. I was considering sharing something else.. but think I shall save it fir tutorial Thursday.

So, my tip for today is this.

With everything going on in every ones lives, I know how super busy we can all get. So, here' is my little tip. When I get done scrapping I don't always have the time or the energy to clean up everything. I always want to clean it all up and put everything back in its place but.. well doesn't always happen.

So, I have a small wicker basket I have began putting the bits and pieces and things I didn't get put away in. Then when I have a few minutes or maybe even 10, i can pop back there grab a few things form the basket and put them away. Sometimes it's the little things that get it cleaned up for me. i have found that these little pick ups throughout the day.. ensure.. i have a nearly clean spot at the end of the day when I scrap.

Just a helpful hint. It does wonders for my area.. keep ing it semi clean if I want to sit down to do a little something.. and a direct spot I know to look to put away odds and ends that take more time to clean up.

Play Time

I'm playing today.. yay.. working on a new Tim Holtz framed box.. one of the super huge ones!!! Very excited! Took me a bit but I finally got the boxes in the positions I like them... of course.. they are in no way close to looking like the positions offered or those I have found online... but I love it all the same! I love these boxes as I normally pull some out and put them into others for more dimension and giving deeper spaces in other areas. LOVE IT.

I like thinking outside of the box. And, well I'm loving what I'm coming up with. I have decided that I am going to use it to contain two of my children's school pictures. Their both great pictures and well it's the first time I've gotten two amazing pictures from one picture day!!! So, I decided to showcase them both within the same box... and use the rest of the boxes within it to well.. just play with and add little things about the kids in.

Here is a pic. of how I think I have settled with keeping them. I think by positioning their pictures on both ends I can use all the other boxes to showcase the pictures better. Hmm... still trying to figure out what color I'm going top paint or ink it to make it work with both the blue and the pinks I plan to incorporate. or maybe a white overall and then alternate some of the boxes with blues and pinks.. hee hee who knows..

Anywho, are you crafting or ubber busy with family functions this weekend? Let me know if you have any ideas you think would work here. Normally I just sorta wing it as I create and end up happy.. so I'm guessing that's what I shall do here as well. Just need to get the master colors figured out.

Plans

What do you all have going on for Memorial Weekend??? I have nothing! I actually am okay with this. I plan on getting some work done around my house.. and lots of great crafting. I have my first 2 day weekend... well that I've had int he last 5 years or so. I plan do do alot of nothing with it! haha

I however have big plans on scrappin lots. Making some new videos for youtube and ustream.. and just hanging out. Whats your plans?
