Another Wednesday is here. Time to share the spaces we all love to mess up! I have a few projects going this week. This week I spent alot of time in here. It was quite the rough week. So, those of you checking for tutorials and so forth, I'm sorry. Last Friday I had to make the hardest decision any pet owner is ever settled with. I had to decide that my baby girl of 13 years was no longer living a good healthy life and that it wasn't the life she enjoyed any longer. She's been with me through cancer twice and through a divorce and being a mom... everything so it literally broke my heart to see her go, but I know she's in a better place and no longer in pain.
So, this week I've been wrapping up all sorts of projects and little things. Also, started a few new ones, thanks for taking a peek around and be sure to check out my Facebook today as today is Hump Day Giveaway Day!!
Be sure to head over to Julia's to share you space as well. Comments always appreciated and will spend the week visitng those who do leave a comment. Have a great day!
I am so sorry to hear about your baby, there are no words that can be written or said to help you through what you are going through, I so wish there was and I would say them. Enjoy the good memories, knowing you have done the right thing regardless. I so wish cyber hugs were real, you would be getting many.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for getting on with your projects, your desk is screaming out for creativity to happen.

no desk this week - just hopping around being nosey!!
So sorry about your news. Lovely to see so much going on on your desk- keeping yourself occupied helps, definitely. Have a good week, Hugs, Shaz #31 xx
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read about your faithful companion. I remember having to make that decision myself for my cat Emily of nearly 13 years. She helped me through so much and after I lost my hubby, she lived the first year after and I feel like she did that to help me get up in the morning and keep moving. One year and a few days after his passing I had to make that call. Hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI see lots of lovely mini's there on your desk! So much work and care went into that shash for sure! Enjoy the day!! Winnie#76

I am sending you a gentle hug I am so sorry to hear your sad news. There will be a big gap left there to be filled and I hope you find a way of doing that.

Sorry for your loss! Eventhough you know it's in the best interest for your dog, it still hurts. I still get a bit tearful when talking about our cat Charlie, who we put to sleep 30th of December 2012, at 23 years of age. Would they ever know how much they mean to us?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, on to happier thoughts: your desk looks great :) Big, and ink and paint proof! Lots of lovely projects as well :)
Hugs,

I was so sorry to hear about your dog. We had to have ours put to sleep a couple of years ago. She was 18 and I still miss her. At least our pets had a good life unlike some poor animals. A great selection of mini books. Hugs. Pam#37
